The former Burnley man has been the main reason that his current club stand a chance of staying up at this late stage of the season. He has already bagged 17 goals in just 30 games and has been tipped for an England call-up.

According to the Daily Mail, the 25-year-old will leave Loftus Road in the summer whether Chris Ramsey’s side manage to maintain their top flight status or not. Worryingly for QPR, they look set to lose him to another club in the top flight.

The Toffees will have to battle it out with Crystal Palace, Southampton, and Newcastle – all of whom have also struggled for goals at times this season – for his signature.

Roberto Martinez’s men have also had difficulty finding the back of the net on a regular basis. Romelu Lukaku has arguably struggled to justify the £28m spent on him last summer, but the boss has few other options available to him.
