The Bhoys had goalkeeper Craig Gordon sent off early in the second half, but carried on fighting for the result in to added time. However, in the end their chances of a treble were swept away.

The Hoops had gone 1-0 up through Virgil van Dijk before the red card. Greg Tansey then equalised in normal time before Edward Ofere put the underdogs ahead in the added half an hour. Even though John Guidetti brought Ronny Deila’s team back level less than ten minutes later it wasn’t enough as Raven scored the winner with only three minutes left on the clock.

The final will be Caley’s first ever in the competition, and they will be favourites against opposition Falkirk.
