Xabi Alonso is certainly a legend in Europe, and his wonderful free kick against FC Porto – incredibly Bayern Munich’s sixth goal of the night in their Champions League quarter-final tie on Wednesday night – really summed up the German giants’ performance.
Pep Guardiola’s men have cruised into the semi-finals of the European competition, and Alonso put the icing on the cake with a superb curling effort from outside the box.

Porto keeper Fabiano Ribeiro de Freitas had absolutely no chance of stopping the strike, and it was certainly the highlight of Bayern’s six goals at the Allianz Arena.
