The London Standard have revealed that the Toffees are looking to sign Tottenham Hotspur winger Lennon on a permanent deal this summer.

The player is also keen to end his stay at White Hart Lane.

The 28-year-old moved to Goodison Park on loan in January after finding his options limited in North London.

He has impressed as Roberto Martinez’s side have enjoyed a late-season revival, scoring twice in his ten Premier League matches to date.

While Everton would be unable to match Tottenham’s £7 million asking price, they could potentially offer Mirallas in an exchange deal.

Spurs have previously shown interest in the Belgian international, but with the forward keen on Champions League football, he may prefer a move to a major German or Spanish side.
