Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi has reportedly visited a dietician in Italy to discuss an ongoing health regime.

According to AS, the Argentina international flew out to Sacile to meet with Giuliano Poser, who is also a sports physician, and the pair were seen walking around the town, which is in the North-East region of the country.
Poser is said to work with a number of Messi’s team-mates at the Nou Camp to ensure they are in the best possible physical shape, and Messi himself is believed to have lost almost eight pounds since the start of the current campaign.
He attributes his good form for the Catalan giants to the work carried out by Poser.
Messi was part of a dominant Barca side which swept aside Paris Saint-Germain over two legs in the Champions League quarter-finals.
He and his team-mates will be watching on with interest when the semi-finals draw is made tomorrow. Luis Enrique’s side could face bitter rivals Real Madrid, or a clash with either Bayern Munich, managed by Barca legend Pep Guardiola, or Serie A champions Juventus.
