With Zlatan Ibrahimovic not getting any younger, and Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani both enduring tough campaigns, PSG are keen to improve their attack in the close season.

Paris have the finances and—increasingly—the reputation, to attract some of the world’s finest players, and may turn to La Liga for their next big-money purchase.

Le Parisien have reported that Carlos Bacca of Sevilla could emerge as a potential transfer target for PSG over the summer.

Heading into the Spanish side’s Europa League quarter-final against Zenit Saint Petersburg on Thursday evening, the Colombian has bagged 25 goals in 52 matches so far this season, finding the net 17 times in the Liga BBVA.

His fine form has led to much interest from the Premier League; Manchester United are believed to be coveting the forward, while Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have also been linked to his signature.
