Barca right-back Dani Alves—who was influential in the Catalonians’ second goal at the Camp Nou on Tuesday evening—has been regularly linked with a move to the Parc des Princes over the last few months.

However, Le Parisien have reported that Laurent Blanc might also be casting his eye over to the Eredivisie for a replacement for van der Wiel, who has regularly looked out of sorts in Paris and not delivered on the promise of his youth.

When the Netherlands left Ajax to move to Paris in 2012, he was replaced by Ricardo van Rhijn, and the 23-year-old may well be considered again to supplant his predecessor in Ligue 1.

PSG also have Serge Aurier on their books.

The Toulouse right-back is on loan at the club this season, but has only made nine starts in the French top flight. While Aurier has impressed when he has played, his year has been marred by a combination of injuries and off-field controversy.
