Eagles manager Alan Pardew is only willing to accept crazy money for the DR Congo international, who has had a highly impressive season in the Premier League this year.

Bolasie has shone against Liverpool in a number of games against the Reds, but has also displayed great skill throughout the campaign with a decent record of four goals and six assists in 29 appearances, though a recent hat-trick against Sunderland distorts that goals tally somewhat.

According to the Metro, Pardew is willing to consider letting his star player go for the right price, but it looks unlikely that Liverpool will be willing to do a deal at the kind of money the Palace boss is talking about.

“If someone wants to give me £40m-£60m [for Bolasie], somewhere in there, that would be good. I’d take it and we’d build the team around that money,” he said.

£40m would make Bolasie the Merseysiders’ club-record signing, eclipsing the £35m paid for Andy Carroll.
