Man United boss Louis van Gaal will look to add more steel to his midfield with the Metro claiming that the Dutch boss is lining up a £29m for AS Roma star Radja Nainggolan.

Radja Nainggolan is co-owned by AS Roma and Cagliari and this situation is apparently a chief for his likely summer exit from the Stadio Olimpico side he has represented with distinction this term.
The tough tackling Belgian international has previously stated that he is 50% likely to make a summer move and van Gaal is clearly keen to land the Antwerp born midfield terrier.
Van Gaal appears to see two of his strongest midfield options as better suited to other roles, with Daley Blind and Marouane Fellaini operating more effectively in full-back and attacking midfield positions for much of the current campaign, and this may be the reason for a genuine interest in a fresh defensively minded option to sit in the middle of the park.
