The forward has been one of the outstanding players in the Championship this season, and indeed, has been influential as the Cherries have secured on of the top two automatic promotion places.

He has scored 23 times for Eddie Howe’s side this season in all competitions, and found the net 20 times in the Championship. With one match left to play, he is the second tier’s third highest scorer, sitting behind Daryl Murphy of Ipswich and Watford’s Troy Deeney in the charts.

However, his time at Dean Court may be drawing to a close.

According to the Mirror, Premier League West Ham United have taken notice of the striker and are considering him as a potential transfer target this summer.

Marseille hitman Andre-Pierre Gignac and Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez—currently on loan at Real Madrid—are also being considered.

While Chicharito is believed to cost around £7 million, the Hammers would be confident of securing Wilson for much less.
