Mexican side Tigres UANL have suffered a nightmare start to their Copa Libertadores last-16 tie against Bolivian minnows Club Universitario de Sucre.

They went into the game as heavy favourites, but 31 year old Jorge Gonzalez has headed the hosts into the lead in just the second minute following a David Castro corner.

Club Universitario are widely regarded as being one of the weakest sides still in the South America show-piece event, having qualified for the knockout stages for just the second time in their history.

One of their biggest assets is the height of their stadium, sitting at almost 2,000 metres above sea level. This caused huge problems for some of the coastal sides from South America – but it was thought it wouldn’t cause such a problem for Tigres due to their familiarity with playing at high altitudes.
