The French international shot-stopper has been one of the finest players at White Hart Lane in recent years, and is certainly among the top five goalkeepers in Europe at the moment after another superb season.

Although de Gea has been far and away the best keeper in England this term, Real could consider a move for Lloris to replace their long-standing number one Iker Casillas, who is viewed as being past his best.

Real have raided Spurs in the recent past for the signings of big names such as Gareth Bale and Luka Modric, and according to the Daily Telegraph, Lloris could be the latest to make the switch between White Hart Lane and the Bernabeu.

Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is also being considered by the Spanish giants.
