The Belgian would appear to be a fan of the green baize, and was watching ‘the Magician’ as he beat Anthony McGill 13-8 in the World Championships on Wednesday. A former winner of the competition, Murphy is also a keen Red Devils fan.
However, not all United supporters get to become pally with the players at Old Trafford. There are no hints as to how the pair got to know each other. They are one of the oddest celebrity duos seen recently, perhaps since the United man was rumoured to be dating pop star Tulisa.
It hasn’t been all fun and games for the Januzaj this season though. The 20-year-old has found it difficult to match the impact he made under David Moyes in the last campaign with Louis van Gaal at the helm. He has started just seven matches in the Premier League so far, failing to score or create any goals.
