The Juventus midfielder, 22, has reportedly held talks with the Ligue 1 giants over a big move for the summer, with the player agreeing in principle to sign a £165,000 per week contract at the Parc des Princes.

Pogba, who started out at Manchester United as a youngster, has been wanted back in the Premier League as well as by other top European sides, though it now looks increasingly likely that he could be heading back to his native France, according to the Daily Express.

The highly-rated youngster has met with PSG officials, the club’s president has confirmed, and there have been suggestions that he is keen to return to the French capital, near where he grew up.

Speaking about the move and why he held talks with the player, PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi said: “Why did I meet him? Because he is a great talent.

“He is French, a Parisian even. But all the big clubs want him.”
