The France international—the top scorer in Ligue 1 –scored his 27th goal of the season on Saturday afternoon as he helped OL to a comfortable 2-0 home victory over relegation strugglers Evian Thonon Gaillard.

The forward’s effort came from the spot and helped take Les Gones back to the top of the Ligue 1 table. They have currently played one game more than second-placed Paris Saint-Germain, and will watch on earnestly as Laurent Blanc’s side travel to FC Nantes on Sunday.

Lacazette’s goal takes him seven points clear of second-placed Andre-Pierre Gignac in the French scoring charts.

Speaking to Canal+ during the match—as reported by Le 10 Sport—the forward admitted that he was uncertain whether he would still be at OL next season.

“We are sure of nothing in life,” he responded, enigmatically, when asked whether he would still be at the Stade de Gerland next term.

Beyond Arsenal and Chelsea, both of whom are believed to be courting the forward, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked to the 23-year-old.
