Manchester United have emerged as strong favourites to sign Burnley striker Danny Ings in the summer, with the 22-year-old preferring a move to Old Trafford over other interested clubs.

The Red Devils could do with new additions upfront for next season, with Radamel Falcao looking unlikely to stay at the club permanently after a disappointing first season in English football.
Ings, meanwhile, has caught the eye with nine goals for relegation strugglers Burnley, with whom he is into the final year of his contract, meaning he can leave for just £5m compensation.
According to talkSPORT, United are now looking his likeliest destination, with Ings keen to link up with Louis van Gaal’s side over the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
The England Under-21 international looks a bargain signing for that price, as he looks set for a bright future in the Premier League based on what he’s shown this season.
