Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will finally settle their rivalry in the ring as the pair will clash at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
After five years of on-and-off negotiations, the fight that the world has been waiting for is set to take place and opinion couldn’t be more split on who will be victorious.
Mayweather remains the favourite and will be looking to extend his unbeaten record to 48-0, but his Filipino opponent will be confident that he has what it takes to become the first man to inflict a defeat on him.
Naturally, that is easier said than done as 47 fighters before him have tried and failed as the American superstar continues to find a way to win and avoid even being in danger of losing.
In contrast, Pacquiao has tasted defeat previously but has built his confidence back up with consecutive wins after that crushing knockout blow by Juan Manuel Marquez.
However, all that will be forgotten when the two men enter the ring at approximately 4am on Sunday morning in the UK, with Leo Santa Cruz headlining the undercard against Jose Cayetano.
While that promises to be an exciting fight in itself, all eyes will be on Vegas on Saturday for the the biggest fight in boxing history between two of the pound-for-pound kings of the sport as Mayweather and Pacquiao finally go to war.
