Bayern Munich are the latest club to throw their hat into the ring to sign Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale in the summer transfer window.

The Bavarian giants are keen to bring the Welshman to the Allianz Arena this summer, competing with big names like Manchester United for his signature, in a potential £100m move.
According to the Daily Mail, United remain desperate to land the former Tottenham Hotspur wide-man, who has previously been regarded as one of the best players in the world, becoming the most expensive footballer of all time when he made the move to the Bernabeu in the summer of 2013.
While a return to the Premier League is possible for Bale, Bayern now hope they can lure him to Germany, with manager Pep Guardiola under some pressure to improve a squad that looks in danger of going stale after so much recent success.
Bale would definitely fit in at Bayern alongside the other big names.
