The French international is looking likely to leave Serie A after a superb few years in which he has quickly become regarded as one of the best young players on the planet.

Paris Saint-Germain appear to be leading the chase for his signature at the moment, meaning Chelsea and City are under growing pressure to make huge offers in order to stay in the running, according to the Daily Mirror.

It is said that the Ligue 1 big-spenders have already made a bid of £60m, and Chelsea and City will have to at least match that to have any chance of bringing the 22-year-old to the Premier League.

This would eclipse the £59.7m record fee Manchester United paid to sign Angel Di Maria last summer.
