Chelsea were officially crowned Premier League champions on Sunday afternoon after clinching the title with a narrow 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
In what has become somewhat of a habit for Jose Mourinho’s side in the second half of the season, Chelsea needed just the one goal from PFA Player of the Year Eden Hazard to seal the three points, and their status as champions of England.

The West London outfit are 16 points clear of second place Man City, and could finish the season on 92 points if they go win their remaining three fixtures.
The Blues have come in for heavy criticism for a perceived ‘boring’ style of football at the business end of the campaign, but Mourinho’s men are having the last laugh, as the Premier League trophy returns to Stamford Bridge for the first time in five seasons.
It wouldn’t be right if we didn’t take a look at the best tweets – have a read – as former players and fans congratulate Chelsea on their deserved success…

Real talk tho. Congrats to Chelsea, played incredible football until January, and as boring as it is, saw the league out like professionals.

Utter nonsense to say this Chelsea team is boring. They were fluent & exciting before Xmas. Had to get down & dirty at times. So what?

Chelsea best team by far in first half of season. Ground it out in 2nd half of season. However you look at it, they are worthy champions.
