Villa Park side chase Hull City youngster.
Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood has set his sights on highly rated Hull City left-back Andrew Robertson according to the Metro.
The Villa Park outfit look in a far healthier position since the appointment of Sherwood as a replacement for Paul Lambert, with the Midlands side racking four wins in their last eight Premier League fixtures helping to steer the club clear of the relegation zone.
Aston Villa sit in 14th spot and have an FA Cup Final against Arsenal to look forward to and Scottish international Robertson may be tempted by a move to the club this summer.
Hull brought in Robertson from Dundee United a year ago and Aston Villa will offer £12m for the 21 year old, some way above the £2.8m the Tigers spent on the full-back.
