Stamford Bridge side chase Goodison Park full-back.
Chelsea will launch a move for Everton right-back Seamus Coleman this summer according to the Metro.
The 26 year old has committed himself to the Toffees in the long term, the Republic of Ireland international having penned a contract with the Toffees that is due to run until 2019, though this apparently hasn’t scared off Jose Mourinho.
The Blues boss is perhaps looking for a solid alternative to Serbian Branislav Ivanovic and the Metro claims the Premier League title holders will offer £20m for Coleman.
Should such an offer become a reality then Everton chairman Bill Kewnright may struggle to keep hold of Coleman whilst the potential profit the Merseyside club would make on their £60k signing would surely be hard to ignore.
Coleman has been a virtual ever present over the past three seasons and the likelihood that the Everton man wouldnt be an instant first choice starter may be an issue the Irishman would have to consider before considering such a high-profile move.
