The France international powerhouse is set to be one of the key protagonists of the summer transfer window, with several major sides rumoured to be keeping tabs on the Juventus star.

Pogba, who claimed the Italian crown with the Old Lady this weekend, has been linked to Paris Saint-Germain, while a return to former club Manchester United has also been mooted.

Speaking on TV3, as reported by Sport, Barcelona president Bartomeu has confirmed that his side are interested in Pogba, but that their ban on registering players will keep them out of the running until January.

“Pogba interests all of Europe’s teams,” he began, “it’s one thing to like a player it’s another to sign him.

“Barca can’t sign players this summer, but we are thinking about January 2016.

“An agreement for 2016 is an option. With [Juventus Director General Giuseppe] Marotta, I speak about everything, including Pogba,” he concluded.

The 22-year-old midfielder has played 22 times for Juve in Serie A this season, scoring seven goals and contributing two assists.

He has also featured eight times in the Champions League and will likely be in action when the Old Lady meet Real Madrid in their semi-final first leg on Tuesday.
