The former Leeds United man, who was called into the senior England squad for the first time earlier this season, has attracted interest after a series of strong showings for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

The defender’s place had looked in peril at the beginning of the season, following Spurs’ acquisition of Swansea City left-back Ben Davies.

However, to date, Rose has made 26 Premier League starts to Davies’s nine and has impressed with some fine attacking forays—he has contributed four assists in the EPL—and maturing defensive play.

Having recently signed a contract which ties him to Spurs until 2019, it would take a considerable offer from either the newly-crowned Prem champions or last year’s winner to keep him at the club.

Memorably, the former England U21 star scored a wonder-goal against Spurs’ fierce local rivals Arsenal on his first Premier League start for the club back in March 2010.
