Juventus will demand as much as £75m for the French international and are expecting a ‘huge’ bid from the Premier League side.
Having seen Chelsea romp to the Premier League title it’s entirely plausible that the Etihad Stadium side may look to dig deep to bring in top talents in the summer transfer window.
Pogba may well be seen by the club as an ideal replacement for Yaya Toure with the Ivorian said to be set for a Man City exit.
The 22 year old left Man United for Turin in 2011 and has played a key role in the club’s run to three Serie A title triumphs in the three seasons Pogba has been at the club.
One wonders if Juventus’s strong run in the Champions League this season, the club currently 2-1 ahead after the first leg of their semi-final tie with Real Madrid, may lead Pogba to elect to stay at the Italian outfit.
