The Reds need to improve their options in attack for next season, with Brendan Rodgers still on the lookout for new players to help fill the void of last year’s departing star Luis Suarez, who joined Barcelona after scoring 31 goals in 2013/14.

Injuries to Daniel Sturridge and poor form from last summer’s signings Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert means new attackers are still a priority, and Menez looks a player who could vastly improve this Liverpool squad.

The French international, who joined on a free from Paris Saint-Germain a year ago, has scored 16 goals from out wide in his first season in Serie A, and has caught Rodgers’ eye with some impressive displays, according to the Metro.

Still, the 27-year-old has a contract with Milan until 2017 and surely won’t come cheap this summer.
