Juventus star Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola is against a move to Real Madrid because of counterpart Jorge Mendes’ influence at the club, reports the Daily Express.

This could also be bad news for Manchester United and Chelsea in the race for the 22-year-old’s signature, as both sides have several players represented by the Portuguese. It could all play in to the hands of the Gunners, who have been linked to the France international by the Daily Star, and don’t have the same association with Mendes.

Raiola is also worried about the large amount of midfielders already at the Bernabeu. Centre-mids such as Sami Khedira and Asier Illarramendi have struggled to get game time in Carlo Ancelotti’s side despite being very high quality players.

Even with his agent seemingly ruling out some avenues of departure, there is still likely to be a transfer saga over where Pogba will be next season. Since being allowed to leave the Red Devils for nothing in 2013, the youngster has become a key part of the Bianconeri side. This campaign alone he has scored 10 goals in 36 appearances despite some injury problems.
