The 20-year-old has emerged as the club’s first choice right-back during in the second half of the season following another injury to Mathieu Debuchy and has scored twice, including the opener in the 4-1 win against Liverpool last month.

His performances have vastly improved since that forgettable European night in Germany against Borussia Dortmund at the start of September, where he struggled on his first team debut.
