The Brazilian international is a top class young player enjoying a fine season, and looks, like Pogba, like becoming one of the very best in the world for the next few years.

Pogba’s superb form in Turin has seen him linked with a number of top European sides this summer in a £50m move, and it could be that Barca will also be among the contenders to snap him up in the future, despite having a transfer ban for the next transfer window this summer.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Neymar has hailed the potential purchase of the 22-year-old, describing him as one of the world’s top youngsters.

“He is a great player,” he said. “We would open the gates for him. He is still a young player, younger than me I think. A player of such quality I think is always welcome.”

The 23-year-old added that he loves playing alongside Lionel Messi and thinks he is making history in the game.

“I love Messi, I admire him more every day,” he added. “I am learning every day from him. It is great what he is doing for football history.”
