Enrique has endured a tough season at the Nou Camp, and despite the fact that the club could still end the campaign as treble winners, it is believed that he is still unsure about seeing out the remainder of his two year deal.

And it appears that his fractious relationship with star player Lionel Messi is the reason behind his indecision.

The pair endured a well documented training ground spat earlier in the season, which was confirmed by Barca defender Jeremy Mathieu.

Enrique initially sparked the conflict by electing to leave the diminutive Argentine on the bench against Real Sociedad, but the conclusion of the rift ended when he gave Messi the freedom to do whatever he wished – which he did to deliver consistently excellent results.

And Enrique has been willing to let the relationship roll on because of their good form, but Marca are speculative as to whether he will want to tolerate another season under the same circumstances.
