War of words continues between Guardiola and Dortmund midfielder
The former Barcelona boss has disappointed this season with the Bavarian side, despite having already won the Bundesliga. They were knocked out of the DFB-Pokal Cup by rivals Borussia Dortmund, and are 3-0 down after the first leg of their Champions League semi final with Barca. Moving to the Citizens could be a good escape for the 44-year-old.
Meanwhile Pellegrini has also had a poor campaign with the Sky Blues. They have failed to put up a fight with Chelsea for the Premier League title, and also not been able to make any further progress in the Champions League. This has put the Chilean under pressure, and Guardiola could be the ideal replacement.
However, there seems some disbelief in the news on Twitter…
Pure imagination and fiction this story that Guardiola has agreed to sign for City. Not true at all!!

If the rumours are true about Guardiola signing a pre contract agreement with City id be absolutely delighted. Can’t see it though
