It has been reported that United are keen to do a deal with the Merengues this summer in order to bring the Welsh superstar back to the Premier League. A swap-plus-cash deal including David De Gea has been mooted, with the media aware of Real’s desire to bring the international goalkeeper back to Spain.

However, as reported by Marca, Madrid president Perez has reiterated that Bale is not for sale.

Perez announced that he wouldn’t sell Bale “for €100 million, nor for €200 million!”

Since arriving to great fanfare in the summer of 2013, the former Tottenham Hotspur man has received mixed reviews at the Bernabeu and hasn’t always lived up to his world-record transfer fee.

This season, he has managed 29 starts in La Liga, scoring an admirable 13 goals and contributing nine assists. However, this hasn’t been enough to convince the club’s fans of his worth.
