Eden Hazard has confirmed that he is happy at Chelsea and not looking to leave the club, in light of interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
The reigning Ligue 1 champions have been linked with a move for the Belgian superstar, while Real Madrid were also rumoured to be linked with a move for the forward.
Such suggestions prompted Pensioners manager Jose Mourinho to claim that it would cost potential suitors €140 million to sign just one of Hazard’s legs!
This hasn’t stopped the rumours, with PSG believed to be keen to bring the talented forward back to Ligue 1.
However, Hazard has thrown cold water on the rumours by confirming that he has no intentions of leaving Chelsea, and that if he ever did return to France, it would be to his former club LOSC Lille, rather than the Parc des Princes.
“For the moment, I am good at Chelsea,” the player began, speaking to So Foot, “I want to stay here as long as possible, to win as many trophies as possible.
“Afterwards, we’ll take a look,” he continued, “in football, we never know. If one day I must return to France, as I have always said, it will be to Lille.”
The 24-year-old has scored 14 goals in 35 Premier League starts to date for Chelsea this season, guiding the Pensioners to the English title.
