Both Manchester United and Liverpool are believed to be interested in Cavani. The former are keen to seek an alternative for on-loan misfit Radamel Falcao, who is likely to return to AS Monaco, while the latter still need to replace the departed Luis Suarez.

Cavani, for his part, is believed to be seeking a move away from the Parc des Princes.

The Uruguayan hitman is reportedly unhappy with being played out of position on the right-hand side at PSG, and is not content at playing second fiddle to Ibrahimovic.

Recently, Juventus have added their name to the extended list of the player’s suitors. The Old Lady are keen to take the South American back to Serie A, where he so impressed with Palermo and Napoli.

Arsenal have also been linked to the forward.

However, speaking to Calciomercato, Raiola has expressed his conviction that the player will not leave.

“Cavani leaving?” he began, “I haven’t had this impression.

“I don’t believe that Paris Saint-Germain want to deprive themselves of their attackers.”

Both Cavani and Zlatan look to be closing in on another French title. PSG sit six points ahead of Olympique Lyonnais with two matches to play.
