Nonetheless, despite Stegen’s superb performance so far, he could only look on helplessly while Lewandowski curled in an effortless equaliser into the far corner.

With Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar in such devastating form, the Bundesliga outfit can only hope that their opposition step off the boil for the remaining thirty minutes.
It was the Poland international’s 24th of the season, and it was certainly one he’ll remember, as the striker made Barca’s Mascherano look amateur in defence.
