The 19-year-old apparently rejected an offer to make the jump from his present deal of £7,000-per-week to £25,000-per-week.

But the future star, who so far only has 12 first team appearances under his belt, is refusing to sign the new contract, and could join his friend Raheem Sterling through the Anfield exit door this summer.

Sterling himself has already rejected a new deal worth an estimated £5m per year.
