The Spanish forward learned his trade at Real, where he was a product of the club’s Castilla. However, he left last summer to sign for Juventus, having found his route to the first team blocked at the Bernabeu by French striker Karim Benzema.

However, aware of the player’s undoubted ability, the Spanish giants insisted that a buy-back clause of approximately 30 million Euros was included in the agreement with Juventus, according to Le 10 Sport.

Real could be in a position to activate the clause in the summer, as they look to bring back a player who scored against them in both legs of the Champions League semi-final.

However, speaking to Calciomercato, the player’s father has confirmed that the player wants to stay in Turin and would resist any effort to take him back to the Spanish capital.

“He future is totally Bianconero,” Morata senior began, “that’s what is indicated in his contract.

“He is happy to have written a page of history for his career and for Juve.”
