Both players have been linked with a move away from the Stade Velodrome this summer, and considering their performances against Les Dogues, it is easy to see why.

OM are set for a major facelift during the transfer market, with many of the club’s major stars tipped for a departure. Many have been linked to Premier League sides, and it would be no surprise to find many of the team two trounced Lille show up in the EPL next term.

Giannelli Imbula has once again demonstrated his class this season. While he thrives as a destructive midfielder, capable of breaking up the play and winning aerial battles, he is also capable of launching forward and starting attacks.

Chelsea are believed to be keen on the France U21 international, and may be planning a summer bid for the player, although they may face competition from Arsenal.

More certain of a departure is Ayew. The Ghana international is out of contract at the end of June and OM are resigned to losing him.

Liverpool look most likely to sign the forward, with the player admitting that he is a boyhood supporter of the club, although the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, AS Roma, Spartak Moscow and Bayer Leverkusen are all believed to be keeping tabs on the Black Star.

They combined well on 76 minutes to score OM’s fourth, following previous efforts from Andre-Pierre Gignac, Rod Fanni and Romain Alessandrini.

Imbula received the ball on the left, beating off the challenge of Ben Pavard, before playing in Ayew who finished with aplomb past Vincent Enyeama.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool could do a lot worse!
