Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has supposedly been offered a sensational £250,000 per week contract to sign for Manchester City in this summer’s transfer window.
The French international is widely regarded as one of the best up-and-coming talents in world football at the moment, having shone in Serie A since leaving Manchester United as a youngster.
Pogba could now head back to Manchester next season, but with a big-money move to the Etihad Stadium as City look to re-establish themselves as a force in the English game after a difficult campaign this year.
The addition of Pogba, 22, would no doubt go some way to addressing the team’s need for quality, with some doubts over the future of key midfielder Yaya Toure.
According to the Metro, Juve are resigned to losing their star player this summer, despite a surprise run to the Champions League final this season after a recent 3-2 aggregate win over Real Madrid in the semis.
