Bayern Munich aces Robert Lewandowski and Jerome Boateng were seen involved in a training ground bust up on Wednesday, reports the Daily Mail.
Things have not been going too well in recent weeks for the Bavarian club since they won the Bundesliga title back in April. Since then they have been knocked out of the DFB-Pokal Cup by rivals Borussia Dortmund and the Champions League by manager Pep Guardiola’s former club Barcelona. At the same time they have lost three out of their last four league matches.
This latest incident will not help matters. Lewandowski and Boateng squared up to each other after a hefty challenge from the Pole on the defender. Luckily before anything else happened, teammates including captain Philipp Lahm intervened and separated the pair. Guardiola then sent both of them back to the changing rooms and they took no further part in the session.
Check out the bust up below. Could this mean that things aren’t going to be getting any better at the Allianz Arena for some time?
