Arsenal desperately need to reinforce their defence for next season, and they are willing to pay 10 million euros for the Mexican defender who currently plays for Espanyol. Arsenal are not the only club interested in the player, as Milan are also trying to complement their squad with Moreno.

Moreno, 27, started his professional career in the first division of Mexican football with Pumas in 2005. In 2007 he was transferred to the Netherlands to play for Az Alkmaar. Since his arrival at Espanyol in 2011, he has been a key player for the Spanish club, and was named “Player of the Year” in 2012.

Moreno was close to signing with Manchester United in 2014 but an injury during the last World Cup kept the player out of the Premier League. Now, almost a year later everything points him  joining Arsenal.
