Reports claim the Blues are hoping to beat Manchester United to the signing of Lazio forward Felipe Anderson in a big-money move, with the youngster attracting plenty of interest after his fine individual form in Serie A this season.

The 22-year-old Samba star has managed 11 goals and seven assists in all competitions this season, and could be the ideal player to come in and provide more spark for Jose Mourinho’s side on the right flank.

Cuadrado has not done enough since joining the club from Fiorentina in the winter, while Willian remains something of an enigma, keeping his place in the Chelsea starting lineup despite offering precious little in the way of end product in the final third.

According to the Metro, Chelsea will now look to replace Cuadrado with Anderson when the summer transfer window opens, beating rivals United to his signature.
