The Sun claim both Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are after the 31 year old who has just a year to run on his current Old Trafford contract.

No new deal is in place and considering the Dutchman’s average campaign it’s entirely possible that Man United might look to cash-in on the Arsenal man this summer.

Both Istanbul based side are ready to offer Van Persie a deal worth £220k a week, the salary the Man United man currently enjoys, with a three year contract on offer.

Van Persie scored 30 goals in his debut season at Man United, securing a Premier League title in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season in charge, but things haven’t gone all that well for the experienced forward over the past couple of campaigns.

Even during David Moyes’s poor reign the Dutch international scored 18 times last term but has managed just ten in 2014/15 and the time may be right for a fresh challenge.
