Raheem Sterling set to be left out of Liverpool’s starting XI for last game of the season against Stoke City
A big thank you to all the people out there who have genuinely supported me through the last 6 years. #200 #NewChapter

The right-back posted a message on his official Twitter account in which he appeared to bid an emotional farewell to the Kop supporters after six seasons as a Reds player.
He joined the club from Portsmouth in 2009 and has gone on to make 160 apperances for the club but looks set to depart when his contract expires at the end of next month.
Johnson’s form during his first few seasons at Anfield were impressive but he has tailed off in recent years, with his error-strewn performance in the game against Crystal Palace towards the end of last season one that he’d like to forget.
A selection of Liverpool fans have reacted to the news on Twitter and it is safe to say that there has been a mixed reaction for the 30-year-old:
All the best Glen Johnson who at times has been treated harsh on Twitter, he has kept his conduct unlike that greedy upstart Sterling

All joking aside I wish Glen Johnson all the best for his future. He’s played 6 years for us, 160 PL games & wasn’t always as he is now.
