Arturo Vidal’s Arsenal transfer looks to be edging ever closer after reports that the Gunners will succeed with a £25m bid for the Juventus midfielder.

The Italian giants are keen to cash in on the Chilean international this summer, as they believe this may be the best time to let him go.
The 28-year-old is also wanted by Liverpool and has previously been strongly linked with Manchester United after some superb displays down the years in Serie A.
Vidal has just celebrated a fourth consecutive title win with Juventus and is also preparing to face Barcelona in the Champions League final, though that could end up being his last game for the Turin outfit.
According to the Metro, Arsenal are big favourites to land the South American battler, in a move that they hope will solve their defensive midfield problems and make them more serious title challengers against Chelsea next season.
