Gareth Bale drops hint over Real Madrid future

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has given the strongest indication that he will be at the Santiago Bernabeu next season, following two posts on his official Twitter account.

The Welshman’s future at the club was called into question at various times during the 2014/15 campaign after finding his second season in La Liga tougher than his first when he led the club to Copa Del Rey and Champions League success.

He was also targeted by a section of Los Blancos supporters on a couple occasions during the season as BBC Sport reported that his car was attacked following a poor performance in El Clasico against Barcelona in March.

Then after the side crashed out of Europe at the hands of Juventus earlier this month Bale was once again abused by a section of fans as he departed the stadium (via Mirror Online)

The former Tottenham star has been linked with a return to the Premier League in the summer as Manchester United and Chelsea are said to be among the clubs interested in a deal for the 25-year-old (via Mirror Online).

However, Bale has somewhat broken his silence on the persistent rumours by taking to social media to insist that he will be a Madrid player next season:
