With the Premier League season having come to an end, the transfer window is typically the next agenda on the manager’s mind, however with an FA Cup final to come on Saturday, Arsene Wenger insists that isn’t yet thinking about the market.

“We will deal with the transfers after the FA Cup final,” as quoted by Sunday World.

“I do not think about transfers,” he added.

Interestingly, the Gunners boss didn’t rule out the possibility of doing business with currently manager-less Real Madrid – with Benzema a rumoured target for the North London outfit.

“Nobody know what will happen at Real Madrid yet. It is all suspicions.”

Reports from Goal.com have suggested that Arsenal are considering a £35m offer for the Santiago Bernabeu striker, and are willing to listen to offers for Olivier Giroud in order to fund a move for his compatriot.

The 27-year-old has scored 22 goals and registered 11 assists in all competitions for Los Blancos this season, compared to Giroud’s 17 goals and three assists in 29 appearances.

According to the report, Wenger wants three new signings to mount a challenge to Premier League champions Chelsea in the 2015-15 campaign: a goalkeeper, a defensive midfielder and a forward.
