The French international midfielder is known to be a top target for the newly crowned La Liga champions, having starred as one of the most impressive young players in world football in the last couple of years.
Pogba will face Barcelona in the final of this season’s Champions League after another fine campaign in which he has also won his third Serie A title, but that has not stopped his representatives negotiating a deal with the club.
A big stumbling block could potentially be Pogba’s wage demands, with the 22-year-old supposedly keen to be second highest earner only to Lionel Messi if he does make the switch to the Nou Camp, according to Sport.
The former Manchester United man would also cost around £57m in terms of a transfer fee, and would not be able to register with Barca until their transfer ban ends in January 2016.
