Magic of the FA Cup myth: Big four dominance likely to continue as Arsenal face Aston Villa

The Blues are in need of a forward with the impending departure of 37-year-old Didier Drogba, and the Colombian could be the man. However, the 29-year-old may not be the best choice though, having scored four goals in 29 appearances for Red Devils this season. He has been a major disappointment since signing last summer, and manager Louis van Gaal isn’t making his temporary deal permanent.

Since a knee injury that kept the striker out of the 2014 World Cup Falcao has not been at his best, failing to recreate the form that he made his name with at Porto and Atletico Madrid. Jose Mourinho is still interested in the goalscorer though, and the transfer target is willing to take a pay cut to make the move.

The As Monaco player will likely act as backup for first choice forward Diego Costa, with the Spain international struggling with hamstring injuries this season.
