The news will come as a major boost to Chelsea, Real Madrid and Arsenal, all of whom have also been linked to the wantaway England international.

Liverpool’s relationship with their star talent appears to be irreparable after Sterling’s agent Aidy Ward delivered a tirade against the club and Reds legend Jamie Carragher earlier this month, via the Metro.

The player’s representative also confirmed that there would be no way Sterling would sign a new deal with the Merseyside outfit, according to the Standard.

Sterling’s future looks certain to be away from Anfield, and several major clubs across Europe are believed to be interested in the forward.

Bayern were quick to instigate talks with Liverpool, but according to Bild, discussions have broken down. It is believed that neither the club nor the player consider the move to be suitable.

As one door closes, however, others may open, with suitors Chelsea, Real and Arsenal now likely to battle it out for the 20-year-old, according to the Express.

Sterling featured 35 times for Liverpool in the Premier League this season, scoring seven goals and contributing seven assists.
